Meng Hao, known as Jingzhi and Yu'an, was born in Jiaxu during the Taosuo era. Originating from the Song Dynasty's Guodipingchang County, the Meng family produced scholars for generations. After passing the imperial examination, Meng Hao became the Master Registrar in Songyang, the twenty-sixth generation descendant of the Meng family. Despite deviating from the scholarly path, he revived the family business by opening a store on the ancient South Main Street, engaging in literary pursuits and historical research to preserve Songchuan's cultural heritage.
