Approaching his seventies, Zhu Geming, originally from Huzhen in Jinxi, initially earned a living through ironwork and later mastered the art of crafting scales. Moving to Songcheng due to limited scale craftsmen, he established the "JinSong Scale Store" on the ancient streets, running it for over thirty years. Despite the once-thriving manual scale business being replaced by electronic scales, Geming, advised by his sons to retire, persists in running the shop for the joy it brings, offering scales for travelers and enthusiasts.
